Zach Litwack is a multi-disciplinary artist based out of Tulsa, OK. Primarily working in motion pictures, he has worked in the film industry and taught filmmaking in Tulsa and Chicago, IL since 2001. His fiction and documentary films have screened at numerous festivals, including The Cannes Film Festival, the Kansas City International Film Festival and the Seattle International Film Festival. He has worked as a director, writer, producer, camera operator, and editor for numerous clients, including the PBS program, “Osiyo: Voices of the Cherokee People”, for which he has earned eleven Heartland Emmy Awards.

Currently, he holds a position as Filmmaker in Residence at Oklahoma State University, where he offers community-focused film education workshops. Additionally, he teaches film courses and continues to build the university’s film education curriculum as the Director of the Entertainment Media program. In addition to recently completing post-production for the documentary feature, Drowned Land, he recently completed the short horror-comedy, “I’m Taking You Home”. He is currently in development on the narrative feature, “Quiet Storm” as well as the documentary features, “The Architect of Dreams” and “¡PROTEST! The Soundtrack to Dissent”.

Aside from filmmaking, he has worked as a mixed-media artist since 2020, exhibiting his work in two solo shows, “Phantom Limb” (2023) and “I’m Good. How Are You?” (2026), for which he received support through The Artists Creative Fund. He has also played bass guitar in numerous underground punk and metal bands since 1995.
